(Holland, MI, July 7, 2008) SAF-HOLLAND, Inc. has announced the promotions of Steve Gregory to Chief Financial Officer and Darryl Rabon to Vice President – Human Resources.
As CFO, Gregory will be responsible for all finance functions in North America, including integrating and overseeing financial activities in the Holland and Muskegon Administrative Offices, and managing finance and accounting employees at other North American locations.
Gregory began his career with SAF-HOLLAND in 1991 as Controller of the former Holland Binkley Company. Prior to joining Holland Binkley, he was CEO of A & H Software Systems, Inc. in St. Louis, MO; Vice President Finance for Specialized Products in Taylorville, IL; and CPA with Main Hurdman in Taylorville, IL. A CPA, Gregory has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Administrative Science from Southern Illinois University.
As Vice President of Human Resources, Rabon will be responsible for all Human Resources and payroll functions in the Americas.
Rabon began his career with SAF-HOLLAND in 2000, joining the Holland Hitch Company as Human Resources Manager of the Denmark, SC facility. He transferred to Michigan in 2002 where his positions included Group/HUSA Staff Human Resources Manager, Director of Employee Relations/Human Resources, and lead negotiator in union contract talks.
Prior to joining SAF-HOLLAND, Rabon served as Manager of Corporate Compliance and Supervisor of Employment for Piedmont Natural Gas Co., Inc. in Charlotte, NC, and as Human Resources/Training Manager and Assistant Human Resources Manager for various facilities of Burlington Industries.
Rabon is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, a Certified Labor Relations Professional, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Personnel Management concentration from the University of South Carolina.
